Turkey biryani sounds interesting! I’ve had, veal, chicken, beef, fish, prawn, lamb, and mutton. Mutton is my favourite by far.
I grew up by the beachside and miss the warm weather of my hometown, Karachi. But I’m happy there isn’t sand everywhere, and I’m surrounded by greenery near Toronto now.
It was a holiday special, so the turkey leg was a dash of Peruvianness now that I think about it. Delicious! I love sand on my body but I know that’s weird haha
Oh I’m sure turkey biryani is as authentic as chicken or duck or ox biryani haha. If the rice and spice is nicely done it can have any protein in it as far as I’m concerned. But now I’m having visions of duck biryani too. If you ever get a chance to, try a Sindhi mutton biryani. I’m literally here because your post gave me flashbacks of it haha. Sand is fine on my body when I’m at the beach, but we had to vacuum and dust obsessively! Doesn’t make a dent in the overall positive experience though.

Watching him getting destroyed by every contestant and Alan Cummings is worth every penny of my Peacock subscription
