If you ever find yourself in the Northern Peruvian city of Piura, you are probably there because of business or family obligations. If you’re lucky, it’s a stopover to the province’s beautiful beaches. But I cannot fathom a reason why anyone would fly there as a tourist, let alone if you’re a foreigner. I say this with utter respect: There is nothing to do in Piura except lounge by a pool and eat.
