Cranky Guide Writing "Hour" November & December 2024
Mondays, but with some breaks in between!
My favorite folk, I’m committing the Cranky Guide Writing “Hour” to Mondays for the rest of the year. Do you know how hard that is for me????? So hard that there are a couple of Mondays I won’t be able to make it so please note those dates below. For most of the rest of the year, though, you can join me and other writers from 6 pm ET/5 pm CT to commune with our creative projects and start the week right.
The writing “hour” is a 40-minute virtual write-in for paid subscribers and one of my favorite ways to bring community together. You can use the session however you see fit. While most people who show up are ready to work on a draft, you can spend the time working on job applications, editing photos, doodling in a sketchbook, brainstorming, whatever floats your boat. The point is to set time aside to focus on whatever makes you happy.
The November and December dates for the Cranky Guide Writing “Hour” are:

Monday, November 18 at 6 pm ET/5 pm CT
Monday, November 25: No writing hour due to travel
Monday, December 2: No writing hour due to teaching*
Monday, December 9 at 6 pm ET/5 pm CT
Monday, December 16 at 6 pm ET/5 pm CT
Monday, December 23-January, 5: No writing hour due to holiday break
